Dear peace supporters, rights defenders, activists, academics, journalists, trade unionists, colleagues and friends,
Over the last decade, we have witnessed an increase in global persecution and authoritarianism against those fighting for peace. We invite you to lend your voice to our campaign “Academic Solidarity Across Borders”, which aims to support young academics in Turkey who have been unjustly punished by the Turkish state and have lost their livelihoods after signing the Peace Declaration “We will not be a party to this crime!” on 11 January 2016.
As part of our campaign, “We Sing Our Songs for Peace: Solidarity Concert” consists of testimonies and conversations from Academics for Peace, live music by Muhtelif, Farmagia and Ötekilerin Orkestrası, and a DJ performance by Barış Cengiz.
You can make your voluntary contributions to our campaign, which you can also use for your tax refund, by using the online link below or at the entrance of the concert hall.
