The documentary “Hardworking Refugees” is produced today at a time when hate speech against refugees and migrants is systematically gushed over the whole society. The documentary was made by the Association of Local Integration of Refugees and Migrants (Mülteci ve Göçmenlerin Yerel Entegrasyonu Derneği – MÜGYED) with the approach that refugees and migrants are not the perpetrators of this crisis but are its victims. The documentary is made by a team composed of Anıt Baba as the project coordinator, Serkan Acar as the director, and Yusuf Salih as the narrator who is himself a refugee from Syria in Turkey, with the support of Sivil Düşün, a European Union programme.

The documentary is in Turkish with English subtitles. We invite you to the screening and our forum discussion!
